On February 6th 2013 Katie Leclerc went bold on the black carpet of the Chinese Theatre looking sleek in a belted orange sleeveless dress, for the World Premiere of Beautiful Creatures. She clearly shows the world that rocking the same color family on your hair and ensemble can be a worth while concept. Katie pulls this notion off fabulously.

Her carrot colored dress and warm red hair color play off one another to give her a uniform look. The sling back peep toe heels and matching belt are totally on point, producing a simple yet sophisticated ensemble.

We think that Katie's flippy hairstyle is fabulous and Hairfinder illustrates how to duplicate her look in just minutes! Begin by applying "back-comb in a bottle" to the root area of the crown to help create maximum height.

Next, focus on blow drying the roots up off of the scalp - don't be afraid to give the root area a taut pull. After the roots are dry, separate hair from top to bottom and begin blow drying the bottom, angling down and flipping the ends outward with a large barrel round brush.

After each section is round brushed, apply a layer of hair spray for that holding power. Now we initiate style on the crown section. This section is round brushed under in the back, the sides are angled under and to the back of the head. Next, the bangs area is round brushed up for the flip and back for a feathered appearance.
