To design your own version of Katie's bubbly beach like waves one must begin by applying a shine serum on dry hair, from the mid shaft to ends. Part the hair directly down the center.

By working from the bottom up to the top, take large sections and vertically wrap them around a large barrel curling wand (on the highest temperature setting, hold for only ten seconds) then let it cool off for ten seconds before hair spraying.

The waves do not get brushed out, so finish with a light mist of hair spray and you too can have a youthful yet sophisticated style!
