Here is a lady who has stayed classy throughout the years. Here are photographs of Judith Light at the 2013 Tony Awards Meet the Nominees Press Reception in New York City on the 1st of May 2013.
The layers add more volume and dimension to the overall look. This is especially important, since hair tends to thin out as we grow older. Note how the layers around her face are blow-dried away from her face to create that modern wind-swept look that we see daily in fashion magazines.
To copy this look, add heat protector and blow-dry lotion to wet hair before starting. Blow dry the hair with a large round brush to create the volume needed. After the hair is blow-dried, use a large-barrel curling iron and curl the hair at the front away from the face to create the wind-swept wisps. The blow-dry lotion will keep the hair from going frizzy in the wind. Finally spray the hair with a medium-hold hairspray to keep fly-aways in place.
Judith's hair has a base of light warm blonde, worked through with platinum highlights to create this beautiful overall color. Mature women should always stick to warmer, softer hair colors and soft, feminine hair-cuts to complement their age and style.
