This mid-length hairstyle looks great on Jena Malone. She showed up in red at the 5th Annual Women in Film Pre-Oscar Cocktail Party that was held in Los Angeles on February 24th, 2012.
Jena's healthy strands are blown out to silky smooth perfection and have just enough body and flip to give it interest and shape. Parting hair to the side gives her front layers a long bang effect that helps frame her face nicely. Jena has a longer, heart shaped face so having a slight bang helps balance out her longer forehead.
Cutting in some layers just past the jawline gives shape and balance to a narrower shaped chin. The overall cut is thick and full which makes a great silhouette for Jena's face shape. Never underestimate the power of a good hairstyle. Jena opted for minimal makeup at this event but still looked amazing because of her beautiful hair.
