TOP HAIR 2023: A Celebration of Hairdressing Excellence and Inspiration

Düsseldorf once again solidified its position as the premier destination for hairdressing professionals as TOP HAIR 2023 delivered a spectacular event filled with business opportunities and a wealth of inspirations. The trade fair, which showcased the latest trends and innovations in the hair industry, attracted 26,000 visitors from 39 countries. With 400 exhibitors and brands from 19 countries, along with an outstanding show program, TOP HAIR 2023 left its mark as a leading trade fair in the hairdressing sector.

The event featured a wide range of products and services tailored specifically for hairdressing professionals. It provided hairdressing professionals with an opportunity to engage in fruitful business discussions and gain confidence in the future of the industry. From hairdressing supplies and professional haircare to hair cosmetics, furnishings, and professional articles, attendees had access to a comprehensive selection of offerings. The clear separation between the order and direct selling segments was highly appreciated by visitors, ensuring a focused and efficient experience.

Christian Schikora, the Managing Director at TOP HAIR International GmbH, shared his positive assessment of the event, stating, "TOP HAIR – DIE MESSE fully met our expectations this year. Despite persistently difficult conditions for the entire industry generally, the fair once again showed that personal contact is possible and important." The event featured an extensive workshop program, congress lectures, and captivating shows, totaling over 40 hours of workshops, 10 hours of congress, and more than 13 hours of shows. With technical precision, passion, and creativity, the teams set new standards on all stages, impressing attendees at the highest international level. It truly was a celebration for everyone involved.

The event welcomed renowned figures from the hairdressing scene, who presented their creative skills through impressive shows. Among the highlights were the special show "PLEAT by Allilon," British barbering expert and hairstylist Josh Lamonaca, award-winning stylist Lucian Busuioc, updo legend Patrick Cameron from New Zealand, celebrity hairstylist Chris Appleton, and the multi-talented Detlef D! Soost. Additionally, BaBylissPRO hosted the first live FX Experience, captivating the audience with their Ambassador Team.

To honor the spirit of barbering culture, TOP HAIR introduced the Barber's Experience for the first time in Düsseldorf. This segment featured famous professionals and promising talents showcasing their skills and receiving acclaim from the community. The Barber Battles served as the crowning finale, thrilling the audience.

The next TOP HAIR – DIE MESSE Düsseldorf will be held on Saturday and Sunday, 23 and 24 March 2024.
