This super short hairstyle was worn by actress Malin Akerman at the 66th Annual Primetime Emmy Awards on August 25th, 2014. Her hair is buzzed short on the sides and left several inches long on top for a totally radical look. The longer pieces of hair are teased to create a slight cushion and then slicked back for a more edgy style. The straight texture is created with a flat iron.

A short hairstyle like this really opens up your face and doesn't allow for any soft face framing or accentuating. It's a fun look to try though because the length on top is very versatile and could be worn forward and around the face if desired.

Malin's hair color is a medium brown shade with blended highlights throughout. The overall color looks like a dark blonde shade that complement's her skin and eyes beautifully.
