The San Andreas movie premiere in Los Angeles, on May 26th, 2015 brought out many celebrities to include Swedish/Canadian actress and singer Malin Akerman. She rocked the black carpet in her edgy yet spicy style.

From head to toe, Malin gives the term rocker-glam its meaning. Her all black ensemble from the noir heels, clutch and sleeveless leather and mesh cut out knee length dress surely had heads turning but it was her fresh and zesty hairstyle that truly topped off her look.

While known for her blonde hair color, this is certainly a shorter bob style for Mrs. Akerman but as demonstrated, she can pull off any length! To get your rocker glam hairstyle on, first begin by separating dry hair into 3 sections (the top, and two sides). The sides will be smoothed down and behind the ear with a wet comb and mouse.

After the hair is smoothed, manipulated into place and product is applied, make sure to secure into place with hair spray and dried with a blow dryer. Next, use a curling iron to flip the bottom ends outward and spray into place.

The top section will require a fair amount backcombing to get the volume Malin is sporting (take 1 inch sections and backcomb the crown). Next, use the curling iron to work the hair over to from right to left. The final step would be to use a generous amount of freeze spray so you can rock out all night long.
