Maggie Gyllenhaal's Vintage Look
Actress Maggie Gyllenhaal posed for the cameras on September 15th, 2002 wearing a modern lilac creation and short vintage inspired hair. It takes a little bit of work to get the 1920s influenced finger waves, but it is a unique look and worth it.
Here is how to do it: treat wet hair with mousse, part on the side, comb through. Slide comb to position the first wave and tilt outward, attach an old fashioned wave clip to section and continue downward for two or three more waves.
Roll the remainder of length around your finger to a small curl and fasten it with a bobby pin. Once all is dry and set, remove the pins and clips and casually arrange your locks with your fingers to get the slightly disheveled look.
