Amber Benson was seen dressed in gray silk at the screening of "The Killing Jar" in Los Angeles, California.

Amber is wearing a conventional shag haircut that involves having enough length in the back to cover most of her neck. The sides are cut to leave the earlobes exposed, and the crown and top are short enough to have some height.

The haircut gradually gets longer toward the forehead to cover or tip the eyebrows. In Amber's case, her bangs are split to ride up into a wide curl, while the other side smoothes over to the side.

Shags are easy to maintain once you understand the concept of how to comb and style the cut. Whether kept straight, wavy, or curly, they can be quite attractive. If you have one that has a longer neckline, you can wear it up.

Hairbands are a cute way to dress them up, as there are formal ones made from sequins to red and white scarves. An imitation braid can also be used.

Amber keeps her makeup to a minimum, concentrating on light eyebrows, heavy eyeliner, lashes and mascara, blush, and a natural pink lip color.
