20. Release the two top sections and comb the hair in the manner that it will naturally fall when the hair is dry and/or styled. Note how the hair of these sections is still much longer than the hair that we have just tailored at the back. We will now proceed in cutting these sections of hair so that it matches the length and style of the back section.

21. Simply use the weight-line of the hair that you have already meticulously cut into style at the back as a new guide. Cut the longer top hair in line with the bottom shorter hair so that the horizontal sections are seamless and perfect. No hooks, angles or curves may be present.

22. Once you have finished, your end-product should look like this. Note how the silhouette of the inverted bob follows the actual silhouette of the model's head. This creates a universal flattering and tailored look for each client, which in turn explains why this cut is in such high demand and will never go out of fashion.

23. Note the slightly curved angled at the nape of the neck, running progressively longer towards the front. Also not the thinned out and tailored hair in the triangular back section. You will barely spend time on blow-drying the hair in this section, which again contributes to the versatility and popularity of this cut.

24. The hair at the front frames the face of the model, flirts with the line of her cheekbones and simultaneously softens her features. The cut looks like a medium to relatively long cut from the front. The sides of the inverted bob are mirror-images of one another, contributing to the aesthetical value of the style.

25. When it is blow-dried, you should end up with this beautiful product. This hairstyle is easy to maintain, easy to style and you can go quite a while in between salon appointments. The cut is universally flattering on almost any facial shape and features, which would be part of why so many women cut their hair in this style.
