Eyebrows: Follow the curve
 
The most important criterion when selecting eyewear is the eye zone, and therefore the eyebrow curve.
 
The shape of the eyebrow determines whether a pair glasses is suitable or not. Ideally, the upper frame of the glasses should follow the natural curve of the eyebrow. The illustrations show the dos and don'ts for both rimless and full rim glasses.

1. Balanced Eyebrows

Balanced eyebrows have a harmonious and slightly rounded curve. They go well with many different shapes of eyewear. Oval lenses and rounded lenses are a good choice. A slightly rounded lens shape follows the curve of the eyebrow.
 
Avoid small lenses, rectangular lenses and upward sloping lenses (e.g. cat eye)that hide the eyebrow.
 
2. Rising Eyebrows

Rising eyebrows end at a higher point on the temples. Cate eye and butterfly shape lenses are a good choice. For a youthful look, upward sloping lens shapes are best.
 
Avoid lenses with a straight upper edge, rectangular lenses and small lenses
