Sharon Lawrence is in her 50s but looked very nice when attending a party by In Style Magazine and the Diamond Trading Company at the Beverly Hills Hotel (January 13th, 2005).

Getting older isn't fun for anyone but we love seeing women embrace it and setting an example of what it looks like to age gracefully. Middle aged women can still look fresh and fun by using their hair as a tool.

Keep your style modern by changing with the times and staying on trend without totally disregarding the things you've learned about yourself and what works best for you. With age comes wisdom and you have hopefully found out what shapes and styles complement you best. Here, Sharon shows off a fun and flippy middle-length hairstyle. Lots of short layers add volume and fullness to the look.

Teasing the crown helps add even more height. Parting hair to the side is complementary to most face shapes and it's a great way to add softness to your style. A large sized round brush was used to blow out strands and create a full, sleek result. Lawrence's lighter color is a great choice for blending and hiding gray. The highlights blend the outgrowth and also lessen the contrast of new roots.

Though Sharon wears long layers around the face, but bangs are a great tool for hiding forehead wrinkles. Keep these color and cut tips in mind for creating a great hairstyle that works with your aging, beautiful self.
