Get some elegant updo inspiration from Naomi Watts. Her ultra chic look was put together for the 2013 G'Day USA Los Angeles Black Tie Gala on January 12th, 2013.

Her high-necked, dusty rose gown was perfectly topped off with a sophisticated updo. The hairstyle looks very ornate and complicated but if you break it up itno sections, the look is quite achievable.

Strands were sectioned off into four horizontal areas and then loosely braided and twisted back. The braids and twists were then secured into twisted knots. A few strategically placed hair pins keep this style locked in place. Always try to use hair pins that match the shade of your hair color. They sell all kinds of colors and they will hide into your hair much easier if you have the right hue.

The top section is teased at the root to create a cushion for height. The strands were then smoothed back and secured with pins. Soft bangs and a few wispy pieces around the sides are left around Naomi's face for softness.

Her pretty pale colored locks go well with her pink dress. A medium brown colored base is lightened up with a full highlight so that even when her hair is pulled up the color is uniform throughout. Her blonde hair is gorgeous and very natural looking, too.
