Also, if you belong to the cage diving clan but don’t have any money, take your chances and visit a salon or beauty school that needs hair models for their students to train on. Actually, most of the time this is a pretty safe bet. And when you get it cut there, you might even get a free haircut!

A senior stylist will be present at all times to provide guidance, oversee the entire process, assist with more complex techniques, and hold your hand through most of the experience.

Before you embark on this exciting opportunity, keep the following tips in mind:

Ask your partner what they like about your hair. If they insist on maintaining your length, it could be an issue. If they're not that significant, (this isn't advised if you're married) disregard their opinion and do it anyway. However, if you're married and your spouse is adamant about keeping your hair as is, it's probably not a good idea to give your hairstylist free rein. Don't do it.

Another thing to keep in mind is that you must be pretty comfortable in your own skin to consider giving your hairdresser complete freedom. If you're a very shy or uncomfortable person, this isn't a good idea. Remember that hairstylists are usually extremely lively, creative, and expressive individuals who enjoy taking risks and exploring new looks and styles.

This experience will undoubtedly be frightening and disappointing for someone who lacks confidence and feels exposed when they stand out or attract attention. Hairstylists enjoy creating unique, contemporary styles that are visually striking and distinctive, which may not be suitable for an extremely introverted or timid individual.

Keep an Eye on the Budget!

If your hairdresser creates a unique or modern hairstyle, they may want to complement it with some color, such as coloring, highlights, lowlights, or even an ombré. It's always a good idea to decide beforehand how much you're willing to spend on your new haircut and color, and discuss your budget with the hairstylist so they can keep it in mind when selecting techniques and procedures.

Remember that your hairstyle and color will require some level of maintenance to keep your hair looking good. Discuss this with your hairstylist in advance so they can explain how much maintenance your particular case will require. Determine whether you have the financial means and time to ensure that you can maintain your new style successfully.

Keep in mind that if you decide to have your hair colored, you'll probably need to buy specialized shampoo, conditioner, and treatment. Once again, discuss this with your hairstylist to make sure you're both on the same page.
