Shown here at the premiere of "A Plumm Summer" in LA, Alex Kingston (of E.R. fame) looks terrific with her head full of natural curls. This lovely lady's ginger locks are well-defined and are an asset to her look.

With a moderate level of layering to balance the bulk throughout the hairstyle, the only flaw to the look is what appears to be visible new growth at the scalp showing darker auburn color that converts to a brighter, spicier shade after an inch or two.

Of course, this could be simply bad lighting, so we'll be kind.
