The New York based fashion designer Rachel Roy modeled her own creation and a truly regal hairstyle at the Time Magazine 100 Party on May 8th, 2007.

Learn how to create this festive updo here: Of course you need very long hair which should be brushed to untangled smoothness. Weave a classic three strand braid with its base at the back of the crown, using all of your hair.

Wrap the braid into a tight coil, tug under the ends and pin it down tightly and invisible. Mist with hairspray and smooth over the surface with your hands.
