On the evening of September 27th, 2014, a radiant Julianne Moore debuted a sleek and sophisticated style during the 52nd Annual New York Film Festival.

She looked dazzling and dressed to impress in an elegant two-toned black sleeveless Rodarte gown adorned with glistening sequins. Her hair was strategically pulled back to showcase her warm smile, lovely eyes, and simple yet brilliantly appropriate earrings.

Julianne's vibrant red hue is one of the most recognizable and sought-after hair colors of all time. However, it's evident that her hair color at this event takes on a more neutral shade (easily achieved with a tint rinse), creating a toned-down brunette appearance.

This sleek and refined look is simply achieved by applying an all-over shine serum from root to end. Then, her hair was parted off-center and brushed back into a low ponytail. Next, the ponytail was braided in sizable sections and wrapped into a chignon, secured with hair-colored bobby pins.

To polish off this classy look, add a layer of shimmering hairspray to ensure those pesky flyaways stay at bay. Julianne's hairstyle gives her a regal appearance and exudes an old Hollywood glamour vibe from head to toe - just the way we like her.
