Headquarters

L’Oréal Colour Trophy 2008 Regional Finalist

gothic influences

Stylists from Headquarters in Kingston-Upon-Thames are holding their heads high having made it through to the Grand Final of the L'Oréal Professionnel Colour Trophy 2008. Zoe Bridges, 28 and Rachel Defreitas, 24 are now one-step away from realising a lifelong career dream; to win the title of the world’s longest running, most stylish hairdressing competition.

Zoe and Rachel explain the inspiration behind their striking creation: “Our look is inspired by the designer Gareth Pugh and combines gothic and bohemian influences. Our model’s sweet face plays off the drama of the clothes styling and taps into the Autumn/Winter 08 trends to perfection.”

For Zoe and Rachel it seemed like an eternity before the judges delivered their verdict. Upon hearing their name announced, the girls leapt off their chairs in delight. “We were so overwhelmed and had to pinch ourselves to check that it was really happening,” exclaimed Zoe. “It still hasn’t sunk in and we can’t wait to get to the Grand Final.”
