Mia Waskikowska looked very sweet when she attended the 25th Anniversary Film Independent Spirit Awards back in 2010.

Her hair is cut into a short and shaggy pixie. Lots of shattered layers are cut into the hair to keep it light and piecey. The layers were probably cut with a razor and that helps to create that funky texture. The texture is spikey and so the overall look is more edgy rather than soft and feminine.

All of her hair is pushed forward and then spiked up on the top for shape. She probably used a medium hold pomade or hair wax to achieve the fun look. The length is left slightly longer around the ears to keep it from looking too masculine.

Mia's hair color is very pretty and natural looking. The color goes from dark to light as it move from roots to tips. The lighter ends add a lot of brightness to her face and it gives the overall color lots of dimension. The shades of blonde and beige are very natural and blend together perfectly. The result is a sandy blonde color that looks great on Mia.

This style would look great on ladies who want an edgy but low maintenance hairstyle. Round and heart shaped faces look best with a short pixie haircut but all hair thicknesses and textures work well with the style. Her overall, head to toe look is quite adorable.
