Flux represents continuous change, passage and movement, so the inspiration behind this hairstyles collection is a fusion of six eras that correlate into the fashion and the world that we live in today.
Hairstyles exist throughout history, in a constant state of flux, continuously changing but existing to some extent in their original form, yet being updated to suit the moment in time.
Strong Updo

The creation of something geometric and avant-garde, gives a futuristic feel to this Flux woman's updo. By wrapping texture set hair around clear plastic shapes, the hair was set and molded to create this strong shape.
Tightly Shaped Haircut

Drawing inspiration from the fashions of today, this short haircut is tightly shaped in on the back and sides and with a beautiful free to move texture on top.
Big Curly Hair
![Big curly hair inspired by the 1980s](../hairstyles-t/flu3t.jpg)
Big curly hair was the "in" thing in the 1980s, and it is back but with a slight variation. Instead of easing into the traditional voluminous curly hair shape synonymous with the 80s, the hair was set to a diamond look with a tail, infusing it with a modern feel. The overall result is a hairstyle that looks amazing from every angle.
Short Classic Haircut

A carry on from the obsession with everything geometric in the 1960s, this look is inspired by the invention of the Vidal Sassoon classic haircut. This short hairstyle follows the curve of the head and maintains strong lines through the front, then finishes off with a beautiful smoothness to showcase the shape.
1940s Inspired Look
![1940s inspired hair with classic finger waves](../hairstyles-t/flu5t.jpg)
Inspired by the 1940s classic finger waves, a hairstyle with a more modern texture was created. So while there is still the shape of the finger waves, it has an "undressed" aesthetic, bringing it into to the modern day.
Flapper Girl Look
![Short hairstyle for a 1920s flapper girl look](../hairstyles-t/flu6t.jpg)
This hairstyle is a modern creation of the 1920s flapper girl look; an all-encompassing up style that is set to the head. The modern twist was braiding the hair and pulling it apart to give a more textured appearance.
