Garnier Samples Available for Skin Care
L’Oreal USA, Inc. – The Garnier Company, a division of L’Oreal is now offering free samples of
their Ultra-Lift Anti-Wrinkle Moisture Cream SPF15, one of the newest products in the Nutritioniste line of skin care. Customers
can visit the Garnier Nutritionist website garniernutritioniste.com and click the
“How can I get a free sample?” link.
The process requires you to give your contact information (obviously needed in order to mail
the product sample to you) and to answer a few multiple choice questions about your buying habits and skin care and brand
preferences. The whole process is done in less than five minutes. It does give you the option to “opt out” of receiving additional
“new product mailings”, so you can theoretically avoid adding to your junk mail pile.
Garnier’s Ultra-Lift formula uses dermatological nutrients (ingredient complexes developed by
Garnier) to work on the skin’s outer layer. These nutrients help to moisturize the skin, repair the skin’s natural protective
barrier and works to plump up wrinkles from the inside.

Pantene Launches New Formula in Limited, Domestic Market
India, November 1, 2007 – Pantene, a division of Proctor and Gamble, has released a new shampoo
formula in the domestic market in India. The product, a formula named Pantene Total Strength is designed for women whom the company
classifies as “multi-tasking women”.
The research department of P&G claims that most “multi-tasking women” (women who have busy lives
and perform duties of careers, family care and home care) often suffer from seven signs of weakness in the hair. These signs are
Split Ends, Dryness, Roughness, Dullness, Friction Damage, Brittle Hair and Tangles.
The new shampoo formula uses what the company is calling a TRIDefence Complex consisting of
ingredients to reduce friction, increase hair strength, smooth and condition the hair strands and cuticle layer, thus improving the
moisture retention in the hair shaft. The result is hair that is shinier, healthier and tangle-free.
Proctor and Gamble and Pantene have not yet made any comment on whether a similar formulation
will be released in other markets around the world.
