Tapered Sides and Back

Here we have a retro style inspired by the ‘80s and the New Wave look of that period. The top and crown feature longer lengths in uniform layers while the sides and back are tapered short and contour close to the scalp. These two divisions are differentiated further by the color – with pale blonde in the top and crown and the natural color in the sides and back – and by the styling using high volume in the top and crown and smooth tapering by contrast. Use a volumizing product to give structure to the hair at the top and crown.
