Again, we have a longer, layered hairstyle with shallow layering along the lower portions of the length – at the chin and neck areas – and a gently sloping cut along the fringe. The layers are grouped to allow a separation
of the areas of movement in the style. This is what creates the soft curves to the right and left of the face to either side of the staggered parting line on the left side of the top section. The underneath lengths are
layered in their own grouping to allow the creation of the outward curve that gives this look balance and asymmetry. (The passive side of the style curves under all the way down to the ends of the hair.) The look is
evocative of the 90s styles made popular on television series such as “Friends”.
