As hard as it may be to believe, this style is built from the long haircut shown in the previous photo. However, the hair is curled into tight spiraling coils (or perhaps this is the natural wave pattern of the hair and
the previous photo is simply ironed smooth to form the prior look). The curls give the illusion that the hair is significantly shorter than it actually is, since so much of the length of each strand moves in more
horizontal directions than simple the verticality of the straighter wave pattern. The look has maximum volume and is carefully treated to maintain the integrity of each lock of hair. It’s a fun look, that celebrates
the energy inherent in the style.
