Country Look with Braid
A faux braid and a back pouf combine rustic style with elegant retro fashion. What a great way to dress up your medium long layered haircut! Keep it simple in front with a center part and the bangs just twisted up in the tips, which are by the way a good deal lighter than the rest of the hair for added impact.
The back was teased heavily from underneath to get this mini beehive reminiscent of the fabulous 50s and early 60s. The surface is smoothed out and sprayed thoroughly with a good hairspray. The most impressive touch however is the faux braid that was worked into the hair and connected to the semi upstyle in the back. A mix of decades and styles, but doesn't it work well?
