Just as you sometimes want to preserve the integrity of natural wave, sometimes a change makes all the difference. Taking the length down just a bit, the hair is styled to be straighter and smoother and changes the visual focus from the horizontal to the vertical. Use a blow-dryer and a flat brush with a smoothing product to reform the curls into smoother curves and make the hair better-behaved.
