The timeless and ever so lovely blonde Taylor Swift is always "on fleek" (as the kids these days say). That's right, she brought her A-game to the 2015 Elle Style Awards in London on Febuary 24th.

Swift glistened in her green Julien Macdonald gown with a low cut neckline and complete with black lace detailing. This gown came right off the fall 2015 runway (that show was 3 days prior to the Elle Style Awards). This event really had the Swift fans talking because her styling was more grown up than the sweet looks we are used to seeing.

Taylor sported dark eye makeup, noir nail polish, side parted slicked back hair and a darker hair color. She was definitely giving us a more grown-up look than what we have come to anticipate from Swift.

Taylor's roots are not only darker because of the hair product applied but also because she has an ombre look going on, but her mid shaft and ends are still the same pale blonde we are used to seeing on her. Taylor's hairstyle for the Elle Style Awards kept with her vampy theme.

To begin, work with clean hair. Next, part hair off center. To get it straight use a rat tail comb and then apply a gel to the root and bangs area and comb over. Blow dry the ends and flat iron to get it perfectly straight. Polish off with a stiff hairspray!
