17th Annual “Night of 100 Stars” Oscar Gala 02/25/2007
This attractive blonde is working her way, into landing different roles and was once one of
the models on the deal or no deal on television. Jasmine Dustin wears her hair above her neckline in a bob fashion with long strands for bangs. This
is an excellent choice for her; as she probably has thin hair. Her style is centered in the middle and has no doubt used, heavy
products, such as; gel or lotion and to be blown dry aggressively, to bring out some volume and an uplift in the back. The sides are
pulled back along with the top and fashioned with a comb or decorative clasp, with the exception of one small hanging strand in the
front section. This is a fun style and easy to keep up and gives the illusion of having a lot of hair. If you do have thin hair,
remember to apply heavy gels before blow drying. When dry, spray with a good reputable hairspray and while you are spraying fix the
ends where you want them to be. Way to go girl!
One thing I can say about this starlet, is that she is not wearing thin eyebrows and for
that, I say, “bravo Kirsten!” Thin eyebrows can make you look hard, thicker brows make you look softer. Kirsten Price wears her hair
successfully straight back with a small pouched out bulb in the back, similar to the cartoon character Olive in the Popeye series.
This is not to say she doesn’t look engaging, however, many of us would not be able to look as good as she does in this style; unless
we have a youthful face, youthful body and the hair to match it. The top front of her style is parted in the middle with one side
smoothly laid behind her ear, while the other side hangs along side her face. Straight lines do not necessarily lend softness to the
face, but in Kirsten’s example, this brings culture and grace. Try this style to see if it you. Section off your dry hair on the top
and fasten with a clip. Brush the rest of your hair into the back, just below the crown and secure with a hair band. Take the rest of
your hair and begin to wind it around the base of the band, spraying with hairspray as you go. When it begins to make too long of a
pouch, start back at the band again repeating this same process and securing with pins as you need them. On the top, part in the
middle and use a flat iron section by section, use a smoothing crème when you are finished. Look into your mirror, now you can see
what a real celebrity looks like.
World Premier on Wild Hogs 02/27/2007
New Yorker Tara Reid started her career when only a child, working in commercials. Her long
platinum blonde hair is all one length as it falls all the way into the center of her back. The top is parted in the center and cut
into long layers that are met with ultra long angled sides. There is a possibility our celebrity has a natural wave in her hair as we
can see the slight curves in her hair that lay on the back. For this look, wash and condition and apply leave in condition if your
hair is as highly bleached as Tara’s and towel dry. Apply a moisturizing setting lotion and perhaps a spray protein for strength on
the ends and comb through the hair with a large toothed comb. Allow to air dry. When done, fluff up by brushing vigorously, while
paying special attention to brushing underneath the hair and spraying lightly where needed.
