Celebrity Hairstyles News

Daddy’s Little Girls Hollywood Premiere 02/07/2007

Gabrielle Union

Gabrielle Monique Union used to be a model before she set her sights to acting and she has a good reason for that luscious smile, as her career has truly blossomed. She wears her layered hair parted in the center rolling in waves and large curls that flow around her shoulders. The best way to have this type of look is to apply a good moisturizing gel on your clean hair and wind your hair with zigzags on plastic rollers and allow to dry. This is the easiest and fastest way and when you wind those rollers on small sections, your style should last all day long without a problem. The other way although more harmful to your hair are the hot rollers and hot iron. With the hot rollers there are usually larger sections rolled and an opened cuticle to deal with. With the hot iron you have the painstaking process of rolling each small section to melt the cuticle to conform with the shape of the iron and you still have the open cuticle to deal with. Rolling wet and allowing to dry is your best way as stated above.

Keesha Sharp

Our celebrity casts her appearance in August Wilson’s “Seven Guitars and Jitney”. Busy gal that she is wears the present trendy center part with the lush rolling waves and curls lazily below her shoulders. Keesha Sharp's hair has been cut in medium to long layers and curled no doubt with a curling iron about one and a half inch thick. I still advise the plastic rollers to get this same effect for a healthier head of hair, although you do have to get under a dryer and could bide your time playing solitaire with a glass of claret while you are waiting for it to dry. One of the main objectives is to have a lot of volume and everything is in the cut, without the shape being placed into the hair it will be impossible to obtain this style.

Rochelle Aytes hair up style

We may know Rochelle Aytes as she plays Denise in “White Chicks” and this lady has to have a very outgoing personality to wear her hair all pulled over from the top and braided to one side. The back is possibly braided too. Anyone who is this daring to be so unique, packs a whole lot of hoop spa inside of them and she looks good too, like a model. Some of us would have to lose a few pounds to even begin to look as quaint as she does. Do not bother wearing this hairdo if you are overweight or becoming, let’s say, “mature like” as it won’t do a thing for you. Actually, it will make you look like you are trying to look like Rochelle and you’ll look frumpy instead. It’s just not fair is it folks?
