This British actress who gained note for her role as "Strawberry Fields" in the Bond film, "Quantum of Solace" opposite Daniel Craig, continued her career with roles in such blockbusters as "Clash of the Titans" (2010 remake) and "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time". Her beautiful dark hair is the perfect frame for her porcelain skin tone and dark eyes.

Gemma Arterton is often emulated for her beautiful hairstyles, but is also just as touted for her fashion sense and her ability to dress her own body. As we see here in these photos, Gemma can make even a simple professional look seem feminine and alluring. This is thanks to the perfect blending of a soft hairstyle with a clean-lined and sophisticated outfit.

The Hair:

Gemma's haircut is a long-layered look with choppy layers that transition from neck length to chest length locks. The multi-tiered layering allows the hair to be styled in a variety of ways, and can support lots of volume, super-sleekness, or the in-between of this natural blown-out look.

The hair color is a lighter tone than her natural dark shade, and features a warm, rich overtone that enhances her complexion and the blush of her lips. With the apparent four-to-five weeks of new growth, her natural color is beginning to emerge, but the overall effect is a slight ombre at the scalp and can be further camouflaged by high-volume styling.

The Fashions:

Button-front blouse with buttoned-up collar:

Gemma's blouse has a nice, crisp collar that is buttoned-up and sharply-pressed. The clean white blouse provides a neutral focus for her torso, and the collar helps to balance her slender, swan-like neck which can appear awkward thanks to her strong jaw line. Furthermore, the blouse is sufficiently long to come to a stop at the top of her inseam, which helps to create the strong central column of focus in her torso.

Long, tailored jacket:

Over her blouse, Gemma is wearing a tailored jacket that is cut long so that it hangs to the tops of her thighs instead of ending at her hips which is more traditionally seen in women's tailored looks. The long jacket helps to mask the pear shape of her torso and provide a completely slender silhouette.

Slim leather belt:

In addition to her pear shape and long neck, Gemma also has a long torso. However, by adding in the belt to break the line of the blouse within the jacket's framing, it helps to separate the long-body into balanced halves.

Taken together and adding the splash of color from the large clutch purse, the outfit is a classy and sophisticated look that would still be ultimately wearable and wouldn't look contrived. Most importantly, the look seems comfortable and easily attainable by many women who have the same body issues.
