Michelle Clunie was born in Portland, Oregon and although she was a shy child, she willingly took up dancing and playing the violin. Her devotion paid off and she won a scholarship to The Academy of
Professional Ballet. After she graduated from high school, she went to Los Angeles and got a job in a Crest commercial. One thing led to another and she worked as a regular on The Jeff Foxworthy Show as Dee-Dee Landreaux.
Presently she is looking forward to continue playing Melanie Marcus on Queer as Folk for two more years.
Interestingly enough, the versatility of her haircuts portray her broadening personality and marvelous talent.
