On October 29th, Lena Dunham showed up rocking a new mint green hue during her "Not That Kind Of Girl" books signing in London.

She opted for a modest and beautiful large flower print dress with more neutral tones providing the perfect stage for her new corky and eclectic hair color to take front and center. The starlet traded in her platinum blonde for a more vibrant mint-green hair color.

Blonde hair color provides the perfect blank canvas to put any intensified hair color over top to create a vibrant hue. So, weather you desire a gentle mint green like Lena or if a bubbly blue like Katy Perry or a pretty pink is more your tone, you will have to begin with a non pigmented base.

Lena's hair is relatively thin, so a plump treatment is applied to her hair in order to thicken up each individual strand. Her hair is then parted in small sections and directionally round brushed under with a ceramic brush and left to cool down.

While the mint green hue is a vibrant hair color itself, it doesn't always present glossy, so you must finish with a shine spray to achieve Lena's lustrous look.
