On the evening of September 27th of 2014 a radiant Julianne Moore debuted a sleek and sophisticated style during the 52nd Annual New York Film Festival.

She looked dazzling and dressed to impress in an elegant two-toned black sleeveless Rodarte gown decorated with glistening sequins. Her hair is strategically drawn back to show off her warm smile, lovely eyes and simple yet brilliantly appropriate earrings.

Julianne's vibrant red hue is one of the most recognizable and sought after hair colors of all time. However, it is clear that her sundry hair color during this event takes on a more neutral shade (easily created with a tint rinse) generating a more toned-down brunette appearance.

This sleekly refined look is simply achieved by applying an all-over shine serum from root to end. Then, her hair was parted off center and brushed back into a low ponytail. Next, the ponytail is braided in sizable sections and wrapped into a chignon form and secured with a few hair-colored bobby pins.

Polish up this classy look with a layer of shimmering hairspray to be certain to keep those pesky fly-a-ways at bay. Julianne's hairstyle gives her a regal appearance and exudes an old Hollywood glamour vibe from head to toe - just the way we like her.
