Amber is wearing the conventional shag haircut that involves her back to have enough length to cover most of her neck. The sides are cut to leave the ear lobes exposed and the crown and top is short enough
to have some height. The haircut gradually gets longer toward the forehead to cover or tip the eyebrows. In Amber’s case her bangs are split to ride up into a wide curl while the other side smoothes over to the side.
Shags are easy to keep once you understand the concept of how to comb and style the cut. Whether they are kept straight, wavy or curly they can be quite attractive and if you have one that
has a longer neckline, then you can wear it up. Hairbands are a cute way to dress them up as there are formal ones made from sequins to the red and white scarves. An imitation braid can also be used.
Amber keeps her makeup at a minimum concentrating on light eyebrows, heavy eyeliner, lashes and mascara, blush and a natural pink lip color.
