Updated Carol Brady Hairstyle

At first glance, this haircut looks to be a direct throwback to the 70s era – evoking images of TV’s Florence Henderson as Carol Brady of “The Brady Bunch”. The similarities are only surface ones, as the hair is softened dramatically by the subtly shifting color, from the richer tones at the scalp which seem to melt into softer, creamier tones. The effect is similar to stirring caramel into milk. The foreground is cut blunt in a curving line with interior layers and blunted finishing that extends from ear to ear. The nape length drops vertically to the shoulder and is once again blunted and the layers are adapted to keep the style looking smooth in silhouette. Styling is executed using a blow-out with a flat brush to give the hair a soft, straight finish. Use a light application of smoothing serum to keep the strands controlled.
